Meet MoMo in NYC: Community Gathering & Talk Event

In December 2025, Bright Nest founder Moe Yamamoto hosted her first in-person community gathering in the United States, Meet MoMo in NYC, bringing together people interested in early childhood education, international careers, and cross-cultural learning.

The event featured a talk by Moe, where she shared her personal journey and professional experiences, including:

• Her educational and career path in both Japan and the United States

• Practical insights into working in early childhood education abroad

• The realities of working as an educator in the U.S.

• Her long-term vision for building a bilingual daycare and education initiative for Japanese families overseas

The gathering provided a rare opportunity for participants to engage directly with Moe, ask questions, and connect with others who share similar interests and aspirations. The atmosphere was open, thoughtful, and community-oriented—reflecting Bright Nest’s commitment to learning through dialogue and shared experience.
